CAST has come to life in the form of an exhibition at the Wayne Art Center! CAST: Art and Objects includes cast work by eighty-six artists from the book who are working in a wide variety of media. It also includes historical objects, everyday objects, and casting videos. Our exhibition is the companion show to the well known and much beloved CraftForms, an annual exhibition at the Wayne Art Center.

The Wayne Art Center is located in Wayne, PA on the Main Line, the historic area just outside of Philadelphia. Since 1930, the Wayne Art Center has been the Main Line's premiere destination for internationally recognized exhibitions and education in fine arts, craft, music, drama and the culinary arts.

We are so impressed by the scope and quality of the Wayne Art Center. Their classrooms are spacious and well appointed, the galleries are beautiful, and the Gallery Shop boasts beautiful handmade work for sale. We couldn’t be more excited to partner with such a fantastic institution.

The show is up! The opening events for the exhibition were delightful. Friday night was the Wayne Art Center’s big fundraiser of the year and they did a beautiful job with the event. We had a great showing of participating artists and it was fun to talk to Perry Price, the juror of CraftForms and the Executive Director of the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft. Here’s a link to a gallery of photos from the show!
